Eels after mansour

Reading on social media, Facebook that we are mansour on big money deal to replace semi. Be good buy but surely we need a prop not more backs?.

  • I agree. Unless we are to release a winger or two, there is no point signing Mansour( I'd love to have him btw) when we need another top class prop for a more balanced team.

    • If Mansour was signed then it would be on good coin meaning there won't be much to throw at a good prop that can make a differance and improve us.

Mansour being a rep player would easily demand 500K plus.

    • OMFG so we let half our squad go to sign one winger??? Yeah that makes sense!

        • Mack you drongo ,  are you saying we should play the season with 6 men and sign Mansour ?

  • Saying we need a prop is irrelevant when one better than we already got probably isn't available. So if Mansour is available... No prop is available... We would be kicking ourselves to pass on a player like Mansour to end up with no one.

  • I feel we need a really good winger and and a power prop. To be a premier ship favourites. Auva and Hoffman isn't anywhere near a lot of the competitions best.
    • They don't have to be the best, or even near the best, they just have to be good, A'uva certainly is, and Hoffman will do until Guth is back and French slides back to the wing.

    • Rather have a French and mansour combination. Auva is good at times but not a fan of Hoffman.
  • There aren't any middle forwards available that improve us significantly. Your point is moot.
