Eels 2017

So after all our rebuilding this year we are showing we can do it without Hayne and Foran but still need a 1/2 to work with Norman to be a major threat. Eels had Hayne from 2010 to 2014 for no finals. 2009 was obviously a freakish effort. As devastated as I was with the news I think we have a team moulded around Norman and everyone knows their role in the team. Must keep Manu Ma'u! Team for next year:1. Gutherson2. Radradra3. Jennings4. Taka5. French6. ?7. Norman8. Alvaro9. De Gois10. Mannah11. Ma'u ( need to make sure they keep this guy)12. Scott13. Moeroa14. Wicks15. Vave16. Edwards17. Another back up for De Gois not sure about Pritchard as always getting injured (Rory K????)Terepo and Gower are good back ups in forwards.Need to let go of Kelepi and O'Brien and sign another versatile hookerAny ideas on No 6 or 7 to partner Norman??? Robson is good in defence and short kicking game but not attacking enough.

    I think after we find our half, we will start to be very active in the player market, and pick up some very handy signings.

    I'd chase Te Mari Martin and segayaro, the panthers can't stack Cleary Moylan and hardaker and not expect someone wanting minutes

      there long term halves are martin and cleary, they won't let him go.

    Kelepi is not top 25 and would be one of the best non top 25 forwards in the cup (his form was very good prior to his injury.  It is no surprise the form of Wenty dropped when he got injured). 

    O'Brien was also not top 25 this year (not sure if he has been upgraded for 2017). 

    We need to pour all of our money into signing a rep half.

    it comes down to if and when moylan plays 5/8th, 3 doesn't go into 2

    i'd also like to see ryan matterson come back, if not poach connor watson, another 3 into 2 situation

          Just because he's testing the free agency doesn't mean he's leaving. It just means his manager is going to do his job and field kffers for his client.
