Well, with the 2015 NRL season done and dusted for the mighty Parramatta Eels, I thought it only fitting to ponder the season and relive those magical moments we've all enjoyed so much.
We've seen a back up half be re signed whose frame a Malvern Star would be proud of and all the kicking skills of a one legged mule.
We've seen Junior Paulo have to carry not only the weight of the eels forward pack in the latter half of the season but his own weight and half the teams lunch boxes stuffed down his jersey.
What can you say about the 'Seff'? Our own Captain America has shown all the playing skills who only Billy Rogers' daughter can boast to have. He would be harder to pick than a broken nose for most but lucky for Joseph, BA's snoz is straight.
We've seen injuries galore but all will be improved in 2016 with Kaysa Pritchard taking over as conditioning coach.
We have all loved the heroics and determination shown by Ryan Morgan, a bloke who tries harder than Thomas the Tank Engine and shares the social life of the average nun.
Poor old Reece lightning has had to play more positions than a Doonside hooker and has been one of the eels shining lights.
We have all been very appreciative of the fact everything Hoppa Snr has taught his son has been left in Hoppa's bedroom now that he is married, although I'm not sure his wife will stand for it much longer? Actually she would probably be better off just sitting down...a lot.
We've seen more contract dramas than Fwank Fwong's house buying customers and are very lucky the 'Foz' is even coming to the eels.
We have all had to put up with the board making big decisions by playing spin the bottle and yet another CEO decide parra just isn't for him.
Choc came to us battered and bruised but was 'fixed' in the off season and it's unfortunate for Choc and the eels that Choc's Doctor is Bob the Builder.
We all witnessed the emergence of Dan Alvaro. What a star this bloke promises to be? Ben Hannant 'the bear' junior. Unfortunately for us, bears tend to hibernate during the colder months.
Chrissy 'the dumpling' Sandow impressed us all and many in the UK and is quickly becoming an international sensation. How can you not love Chrissy Sandow?
So...with yet another season done and dusted, all I can say is playing finals footy is very much over rated as you miss out on an extra month's holidays, so the boys will be pumped, fresh and ready for a battle of the bottom 8 again next year. Bring on 2016!
