  • Good, and this is exactly what Brad would be drilling into their heads.

If you make the 8 you should believe you can go all the way and Kenny's right, to win a comp you need two good halves of one very good one and a sidekick.

Weve got two good halves and if we can get a bit of a roll on funny things can happen in footy.

Kings an orthodox hooker and is going well to his credit, hes surprised me.

    • We smell a bit like Broncos in 2015. No one gave them the chance and they just snuck up on everyone
  • Anyone wondered if we wouldve done a lot worse with Kaysa? I guess we need a more consistent hooker that can play regularly without the niggling injuries

  • Kaysa could not match kings speed in play the ball that was the biggest deifference last night. Parra forwards got good early ball and were able to make good metres not to mention kings running and kicking game which kaysa doesnt have. Kings kicks were good
  • I secretly wanted us to bring in Peats or someone of first grade quality, but we had one under our nose the wholetime. I hope BA keeps him there perm.
  • After watching last nights game, Cameron King is now the 2nd best hooker in the NRL and is currently so very close in standard to the performances Cameron Smith has delivered both in the NRL and the SOO series. King's 80 minute effort v Broncos last night was a far better overall performance than what Peats delivered in this years NRL & SOO series. Oozing in composure and guile King mesmerised the Broncos and they mostly had no idea what was coming next. King often had the Broncos go flat foot and he was creating shapes in the Broncos defence which our attackers exploited. For weeks, I've been dreaming for this to happen.  Now we have a multitude of points of attack and if we keep up the defence and passion standards our forwards delivered last night, and bar injuries, we have the squad to go all the way and win this years GF. Kings passing game, long or short, left or right was superb and then he kicks too. Where has this been Cameron King????  And your tackling has improved too.

  • I think King's attack was always rated
It was his defence that was questioned
Really happy with what I have seen

Smith is our long term starter, if TDS wants to stick around and come off the bench, then good, he'll grow into it.
Smith's tenacity in chasing down kickers is second to none."
