The Parramatta Eels have been informed by the NRL that Dylan Brown has been stood down from team selection as part of the NRL’s no fault stand down policy regarding the incident this past weekend.
Dylan will not be eligible for selection until he receives clearance from the NRL.
Out of respect for the legal process now under way, the Club will not be making any further comment at this time.

It's not the first time they've done this. Luciano Leilua missed the first 12 rounds before charges were dropped.
It's a weird one, if he has done it, then he deserves whatever he cops. However, logically speaking, if he done it 5 times in the space of one minute, she didn't really put much of a fight up, if she walked away from him (which generally happens when someone feels uncomfortable) he followed her around, takes more than a minute in this scenario.
But then again, allegedly the footage shows nothing of that nature. Oh well, the NRL are as clueless as one can be.
See that is the thing Parratime. No lady should ever take being harrassed or assaulted by anyone, though 5 counts? 1 time fair enough, 2nd time you at least consider going to a security guard and say something? Then security escort him out.
Why wait 5 times for it to happen before you complain?
exactly, even if you're scared or worried. You'd attempt to at least move away.
Yeah Leilua violenced was involved.
Overall, it is like rules in the game, you could have the dumbest rule known to man, but if every ref polices it then fair enough it is a rule.
That can be the same here, yeah it is dumb to punish with "innocent until proven guilty" But if from day 1 the rule was "Any charge in general player will be stood down until court proceedings are finished with a verdict" then fair enough it is a rule have to live with it.
NRL fans cannot live with "He is stood down, oh no he is ok, not sure on this bloke, you know what he's right to keep going" It is wrong.
Abdo played God. As you said Brissy, they have a defined number of years sentence for a player to be stood down. But they also have the option not to follow. I think best describes the NRL, they do not know what they are doing. What happened with Munster and brendon smith, just because they cannot prove it is poweder or Coke. Who in his right mind will sniff powder. I think Eels management should stop playing the nice club and start getting rough. If not, we will always get the short end of the deal.
Brissy what you are forgetting is it is Parramatta, they know we cop whatever they give us and we sit there and keep our mouths shut while NRL wait for the applause. If this was the Roosters god forbid the would be pushing it.
Agree, LB. The club must show that it is not happy with this. Stop being the good boy of the NRL. There are times when you have to fight, and fight hard. We are always getting the raw end of the deal. This should stop now.
Parra is run by people that command little respect from the NRL while other clubs are run by people who the NRL can't push around easily unless the NRL are 100% in the right.
Their is little evidence against DB and if he was at a better run club that club would of put so much pressure on the NRL that nothing would of happened but with the eels the NRL know they will always stand down and toe the NRL line .
If it was the Roosters, Nick Politis would click his fingers and Abdo would immediately fall into line.
It's pathetic.
