  There’s a reason he’s playing first grade at 18. There’s also a reason why B Smith and O’Sullivan judged him worthy of the biggest offer ever for a player yet to play first grade.
  
  I agree we shouldn’t lose our heads, but this is not your average debutant. It will be massively disappointing if the Eels can’t secure this kid that we’ve brought along. Unlike the Cowboys with Ponga, we’re not stretched covering our other superstars. Any other club would be locking him up.

He is contracted for the next 2yrs, the club is going to wait until he has half a season of NRL at least under his belt.
