Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald this week the 20-year-old playmaker reiterated his desire to return to rugby union, the game he played predominantly growing up, and playing for his native New Zealand at a Rugby World Cup.
He is contracted to the NRL club until the end of 2023 and so is focused on the task at hand as they prepare to take on South Sydney in a semi final this weekend.

But he can always hear the All Blacks calling his name.
“That’s probably the best thing you can do in team sport from my point of view, winning the Rugby World Cup,” Brown told the Herald.
“Who knows? I will definitely keep my books open if the All Blacks want me. If the All Blacks scream my name, I’ll definitely be running. I’m open to anything.
“(I’ll consider it) down the track. I’ve got three more years here. I just want to focus on that and when the time comes I’ll be ready (to make a decision).”
It was little more than a year ago when a confident young Brown made his NRL debut and then declared he “wants to be a millionaire”.
That comment drew some criticism but he’s certainly proved himself to be one of the best young five-eighths in the game and an important part of this Eels side.
He was hunted by the Warriors last year before signing an extension with Parramatta and now their premiership hopes rest on he and halves partner Mitchell Moses.

Bit of a sensationalist headline from Fox and SMH but still a bit disappointing to hear Dylan talking about this days from our sudden death finals game.
Ambition is awesome, but there's a time and a place. Talk Eels or don't talk about it right now.
The reality of it is 3 years is a lifetime away and who knows what will happen in between, but boy it'd be awesome to see some guys in the team that truly bleed Blue and Gold...or maybe that era of players is gone now.
Pretty cool. Maybe put an Eel through a gap first.
He must really be focused on this weeks game if hes talking about Rugby Union and being with the all blacks. I honestly dont rate Dylan Brown and I dont see what all the hype is surrounding him. I know hes young but he hasnt done anything to warrant all the supposed hype except being a good defensive number 6.
I think the less said about this the better. Dylan is young and impressionable. It's up to eels management to correct his media experience
they cant correct him being a dick head chief, thats on him.
Great another one with a dream
Great to have such committed players Frank.
Snake a ittle bit of trivia Steve Devine a former Joeys boy was an All Black half back and a brilliant player. He would be about 43 now.
He should do the club a favour and go now and take Moses with him, they offer the the team very little and form one of if not the most useless and uncreative halves pairing in the comp.
So your saying Smith and Field in the halves?
