Daily Telegraph reporting the Eels are set to offer Dylan Brown a contract extension worth 2 million dollars for the next 4yrs & 500k a yr, which I believe makes him the richest teenager in NRL history.

I've actually had Daily Telegraph make contact with me, regarding the pasting of full text, so I'd like to ask people not to do that or it can potentially get the site into trouble re: copyright infringement. Fine to paste in a segment, but I'd ask everyone not to do full copy and paste from stories sitting behind paywalls,
Had issues offering young halves big deals after a few games (Daniel Mortimer, Tim smith) while Brown does seem better than these two. It is a massive risk but with the Warriors sniffing they need to pay him as they cannot risk him going to the Warriors and becoming great
Doesn't lolok like there's anyone else on the market that's worth throwing money at, so why not use our Norman/Hayne money and lock up a talent for once instead of just helping them develop only for them to leave for another club?
"If this is the angle being taken Lomax needs to undergo the appropriate forms of assessment. If proven to be legitimate, he may not be fit to play for any club at this point in time."
"The Vlandys support of Lomax continues with a release today, commenting that the current actions are affecting Lomax's mental health. Mental health is a serious issue and should not be used as an argument to change the public discussion and position…"
"Good to see some Russell love, but it was only a trial game against an ordinary Cronulla reserve grade side. Russell probably had the most first-grade experience of anyone out there. Let's see how the next six months pan out."

Yeah that’s why I provided the link & didn’t post the whole story.
Copy and paste the link into outline.com - you'll be able to read the entire article for free. hahaha
Hmm you do that & it leaves out the part of the article regarding the club negotiating a new deal for him..
He certainly deserves a new deal! Hes a gifted level headed player.

I hope this is true
