Daily Telegraph reporting the Eels are set to offer Dylan Brown a contract extension worth 2 million dollars for the next 4yrs & 500k a yr, which I believe makes him the richest teenager in NRL history.

Hmm you do that & it leaves out the part of the article regarding the club negotiating a new deal for him..
He certainly deserves a new deal! Hes a gifted level headed player.
Had issues offering young halves big deals after a few games (Daniel Mortimer, Tim smith) while Brown does seem better than these two. It is a massive risk but with the Warriors sniffing they need to pay him as they cannot risk him going to the Warriors and becoming great
Doesn't lolok like there's anyone else on the market that's worth throwing money at, so why not use our Norman/Hayne money and lock up a talent for once instead of just helping them develop only for them to leave for another club?
