The Parramatta Eels are pleased to announce that Dylan Brown will remain with the Eels until the end of the 2023 NRL season after exercising his contract option.

Dylan has played over 50 games since debuting for the Club in 2019 after being part of the Eels Elite Pathways system since the age of 16.

Mark O’Neill, Parramatta Eels Club General Manager of Football said, “We are pleased that Dylan has extended his stay with our Club for the 2023 season. At 21 years of age, and playing that many NRL games in such a key position, is truly remarkable. Having his contract sorted now allows Dylan to focus on the season ahead which we are all excited about.

“He is a great contributor to our Club both on and off the field and we look forward to him being an integral part of our organisation until at least 2023.”

Dylan progressed through the Parramatta Eels Elite Junior Pathways system, he played in Parramatta’s SG Ball squad. He later debuted for the Eels in the Under 20s team in 2017, before making his NRL debut in 2019

  • Suck on that Chiefy 😂😂

  • Positive news BUT time to deliver

    • Yep what kid would throw away a $750k  player option in his favour. Going on last year or the year before thats $187'000 a try, or $375k a try assist, or for those that believe him to be the messiah a whopping $1171 a tackle.

      • Watch out BE you might offend the Dylan fan club

        • ill simmer a little then, and say with hand on the heart, the $750k is worth it if he gets us to a grandfinal. 👍

          • Is that legit - $750k for the final year of his contract? And people were scoffing at his next contract being worth a million, it's on the cards for sure.

            • Zero tackle 700k per season

  • Really smart move by Dylan.  By all reports he's already on decent coin and he's only 21. There's absolutely no need to rush looking for that Marquee money right. If he progresses, by the end of 2023, he could be primed to land a mega deal and he's still only 22/23. I'm pleasantly surprised because I thought for sure we'd have yet another media circus distraction to deal with here.

    • Yes Wiz will be happy, that's another one he got wrong!.......poor Chiefy, don't you let that nasty rock get you! lol

      • Ummm how did I get anything wrong ?  I said the other day he'd be stupid to not take up his option.

who else was going to give him 700+K
