We were a more composed team with Brown at 6 and more balanced with Salmon at 14 which allowed Mahoney to play 65 mins per game which at the moment seems to be his optimum game time.
Was it the fact the Drown is a special player and so important to this team or was it the fact that the team in general were playing at a much higher level and all 17 were having a dig?
IMO if/when he returns, we won’t do shit behind this pack of Tontine Pillow forwards. He’s only as good as the platform laid by the pigs.
Our fowards aren't as bad as everyone makes out and there is clearly a platform laid as we are amongst top teams for metres gained. Yes the backs help our fowards in that figure but it is still plenty of go forward and solid platform. Moses has struggled as teams know if they put plenty of pressure on him he will falter. Salmon or will smith haven't taken any pressure away as they are not a threat especially close to the line, but brown is genuine half and will command respect from defences to give Moses some more room. Waqa Blake will also help in this regard as a genuine try scoring centre over someone like taka.
Hopefully not another failed "saviour" like Daniel Mortimer, Kris Keating, Tim Smith or Michael Witt before him. I am not confident at all. History and realistic expectations have destroyed me.
"It seems many teams have been getting away with too much for too long and Melbourne are at the top of the list! This is really disgraceful and I hope it gets sorted out correctly and quickly. I also find it so utterly ridiculous how Lomax even with…"
"According to Melbourne fans we are playing poorly as we are leaking information to the media to get public on our side as we are fighting a losing battle. And we are liars.
Like saying a guy goes to court for murder and a mate of his showed messages…"
"Cause they have been answered to for a while. Now the general NRL public are asking "how long this been the case?"
Again, the NRL treat fans as stupid, we are very smart and can read the room and know when dodginess is happening.
Vast majority know…"

Up early to state the obvious ...tee ! Hee !
I would have put his signing ahead of Guth and Moses
He seems like a natural at game management
He will be back in a week or two

I can see us losing him, if I was his manger I’d be trying to get him out of this joke of a club. BA will only ruin him anyway.

Dylan will be back this week.
If we are relying on a two game 18 yr old rookie to save our season we are well and truly ferked
