Dyl Brown is neither a halfback or a no.6. All he has is a running game that comes out every few weeks. Very inconsistent. Tonhis credit, he is a fair defender though.
Which brings me to Brown's best position... in the CENTRES where he would defend well, plug our weaknesse and have the opportunity to break 1:1 tackles with his strong running.
Mosses at no.7, Gutho no.6 and Blaize no.1 while Brown and Penisi in the centres would be our most potent line up.

We should give it a go nothing to lose season over
There is no issue with brown Moses and Gutherson. The main issue is the teams edge defence and lack of speed out wide. If we can't stop teams from scoring we can't build any pressure. Until our centres and wingers learn to defend nothing matters lol
Correct
You're looking to next year , only one way he's going to improve at Fullback is to play him there .
His to inconsistent to have a monopoly on the 6 as a ball runner. His under performed in a lot of the games his played in. And some of those games his been very ordinary.
I kept hearing about his potential, build a team around him future leader, none which came to be. He openly admits he doesn't study the game or opponents he just plays his game. Problem is he dose not have the ability or skills to read or own a game. His bag of tricks is very limited.
Still think left centre is his position, he would be a Manu type player, wins one on one fair speed and good defender which takes pressure of Sivo. Play Gutho or Talagi at 6.
This season is gone now the time to switch things up. Chase Jock Madden as our future 6.
All the talk of Dylan Brown being a future champion 6 were wrong his average at best and certainly not a premiership winning 5/8. He rarely has a major influence on a game or can turn a game.
You must be a BA fan. If it's not working just keep persisting with the same players playing in the same position was his mentality
Not sure it's a worse option until you try it, then access it.
I don't think Brown is the problem. We have lacked players inside and outside him to create an attacking threat. With the right players around him with pass and run both a threat his running game will be more effective. Lane has been ineffecttive this year and Russell is not much of an attacking threat.
Kind of a weak argument. Someone disagrees with your opinion so there's must be wrong? Brown had an off game, but last week he worked well with the spine and one us the game.
To be fair I think he should stay at 5/8 too. That doesn't mean I'm a BA supporter.
Clearly DB hasn't had much impact being first receiver with a number of defenders on him. Pushing him one out and getting him 1:1 might create more opportunities. It also plugs our defensive weakness in the centres, where all our points have been leaked.
Gutho will do well in no.6, a lot more smarter and more creative than DB. This gives Blaize an opportunity at fullback where he's younger and faster. It's a transition period for Gutho as he approaches 30 y/o. Succession plan.
