Duplicate blogs

Hi guys,

Just a heads-up, I'm asking the mods to be more aggressive in removing duplicate blogs. From here-on in, if there is a straight duplicate the second blog will be copied into the first (where appropriate or if not we'll just note that we've deleted a duplicate blog to help provide a heads up on why a blog might be missing).

Of course, you can help by looking to see if information has been posted previously. Particularly when its a newspaper report, as these tends to get posted pretty quickly.

Of course, your free to post a blog that raises a fresh angle on an existing topic, but even with this, think about whether it's worthwhile adding that to the comments in the original blog. If you're only going to write a couple of lines then chances are it's better off being contributed as a comment.

So don't be offended if your blog gets deleted, it's just about trying to clean up the blogs and make them easier to read. And thank you to our mods, who I keep asking to do more work!

I think it has been a lot more common since a new blog no longer goes straight to the top of the blogs list, so you cant easily see if someone else has already posted a new news item etc

sure is ross, i noticed a blog called players to pursue in parra blogs was there for 3 days before being in top blogs a bit slow. dont worry about billy roger's blogs in top blogs.
