  I picture Hayne sitting back in his loungeroom playing  wii  or playstation as he said this .

  Really   anyone who thinks DUGAN is a threat to HAYNE is kidding themself .

  The only person who thinks he is better than HAYNE is DUGAN .

  Maybe Dugan should study hayne before he preaches !!!

  Hayne is a very talented individual, there is no questioning this. To me if Dugan plays anywhere near his form in the ALLSTARS Match then it's not hard to believe that the selectors will consider him. His attacking ability does resemble Mullins in his day. I guess only time will tell in the opening rounds. Either way it's a win win for a blues fan or a this parra fan.

  On offence Dugan is awesome, but Hayne is on another level.

  On defence Dugan is on the money, but Hayne needs a lot of improving, he needs to work hard on his positioning or he could see Dugan take the NSW # 1 jumper.

  Hope Hayne's worked on his Defence and has improved since last year, with Slater injurd this could be his chance to take the Test # 1 jumper from him.

  Totally agree Muttman, I reckon Hayne still has plenty more he can bring to the table if he gets the right motivation.

  Hayne's positioning definitely needed work, be interested to see if that has improved this year.

  Well if memory serves me correct didn't the roosters exploit Jarryd Hayne's poor positional play late last year at Parramatta Stadium on a Saturday 5.30pm game??

   

  For me Jarryd has plenty of work ahead of him to keep improving and part of that work is to fnd consistency instead of 6 - 8 games a year.

   

  Jarryd has the potential to be the number 1 player in the NRL but does he have the attitude and desire?

   

  Time will tell

  That was one game, he needs to be more consistant, if he was he'd be the test fullback for sure and they would have benched Captain Gidley in SOO too. Where Hayne is lacking in defence he is making up for in pure talent and speed, but that's not enough to be the best.
