Dragons are also chasing Norman.

Apparently the dragons have beenchasing Norman from day one no bigsurprise there, as he is an ace giftedathlete.Norman has been offered up to a hugecontract. To play in the centre's playing 5/81 million dollars per year to play for theDragons.I strongly believe that it is all up to Sharpif he can get the money close enough to that.As Norman is and has been stating that hewants to stay at the Eels club.Especially having that combination with Forun. As it is so much talent brilliance. That comes off their hard work , that sparks the whole team, all players are working sovery hard.Every single player, puts on there best performance, and not one Eels hater can takethat away from us, No way in this world...Forgive me for going on and on.To all the 1Eyed Eels supporters andmembers. As it is very hard to take all of this in.Thanking you Kindly...As I will keep praying, that the Ratgets caught! sooner than later...Hung up...Parramum...... Thanx heaps..

  • If it's one million like you're saying then I'd have to say goodbye Norman, you've been a great player for us but we simply can't afford you anymore.
Maybe speed up the development of French to cover, I don't know but we can't be tying up $2.2mil in the halves.
Although I have heard that the salary cap will rise to $10mil.
Let's wait and see what happens I guess.
    • All of them by the looks of it Fong.
    • The day of the $1m player is here, but problem is how many clubs can afford one player for that amount of money, let alone two, & certainly do not think Norman is in that category. Problem is even at $800k that comes to $2m between 2 players

  • Lol Fong.
  • who fed you this garbage, dragons have never chased Norman, they have Widdop. Conditions on his signing was to play 5-8 not center? I have several contacts in the dragons and know Norman is not a target. I do know another eel they are chasing however, its not Norman.

    • Who my friend!
    • Who??
  • I believe so. But like I stated very strongly,
If Sharp and our board members
can come close to that amount?
Then he would rather stay with Eels..
    Parramum....
    • Mina you make the hellidays bearable :-) from one parra mum to another . Ta
  • A million LOL ! I spose if DCE can manage to rob Manly of a mil a year then Norms could also pull it off . I'd bet a mil Norms would be just as good as DCE once seperated from Foz as well .

"I did modern day as 1998 onwards as I didn't see them play, as some here haven't. Where I believe majority of people here have seen all the modern day players play.
Plus it frees up some spots like we all know who 5/8 will be but now no idea."
