Doorey

I thought he was one of our better players in the 1st 4 weeks of the comp, surely he deserves a bench spot ahead of Makatoa

    • Cartwright has he rubbish, I don't know what you guys are seeing in him. Doorey any day of the week

      • Agree Parra power he is being slightly overrated on here like he's on his way to the blues camp  , although I'm not sure he's been rubbish  , he's a vast improvement on Carty of 2022. I think the excitements more around the potential.  He was seemingly a lost cause , but is now playing with a massively increased maturity.  I think we need to persevere with him as he does possess a little bit of that ( starting to hate this term ) "X factor" in his game.  He has that offload in him if we can fine tune him to know exactly when it's really on and when it's not needed he is a more valuable asset than Doorey at this stage. I do like Doorey but.

        • I like the way doorey was connecting with Moses, good hole running, strong tackler. I watched Cartwright closely on Monday, he can't defend.

      • Cartwright has been stable, against Cronulla his defence got found out but that's it.

Carty hasn't been special but has been safe.

    • With his size and leg speed, I think he would do a better job in the middle than Makatoa

  • I think both Cartwright and Doorey have been very good

  • Niukore was an edge backrower and BA used him in the middle.

I see no reason why Doorey can't be used in the same way and he is better than Makatoa and Murchie.

    • Niukore was more physical, Doorey is a pure hole runner

      • Doorey looks just as physical as Niukore to me.
