I donated my $100 and made a point of telling the girl on the phone I did the same thing a couple of years ago and didn't have a clue who won the prize. She ensured this time the winner will be better advertised. Time will tell, maybe Larissa can let the 1 Eyed bloggers know who wins ?.
PS: The girl who called was based in Melbourne so maybe a telly marketing company down there ?.

I bought tickets but never heard squat after that ...obviously didn't raise the required $$$ if they are asking for more donations.
I got a call from Darcy Lussick last year asking me to donate to the new High Performance Centre which I did and like some of you guys did not hear any more about it.
Also got a call yesterday to donate again, which I'm happy to do (anything to get Parra up there on the ladder and win a premiership). Thanks Larissa for letting us know what the outcome will be.....
ps can I have the season tickets and NOT the car. A friend of mine has the Cruze and it's crap.....

I gotta say it is a bit rude to ring members to ask to fund something as fundamental as a training facility meanwhile all the players are just about to head to the US for a trip. Either the club needs funds to pay for the basics or it is cashed up enough to afford 30-odd airfares and accommodation to the U.S. You can't have it both ways.
I agree with SixtiesBoy this stuff belongs within the Premiership Club and with sponsors not with rank and file members, many of whom may not be able to afford it but may feel compelled to pay. Not a great look Eels.
