Don't knock Kaysa, Taka or Auvva

That was the best half of football that I have watched Parra play this year. It's very clear to see that once The Mighty Eels have their defence in order their attacking play will click. I love Normy, but Takka was Outstanding today. I am pretty sure that we haven't chased a Dummy half because BA knows he has a Great combo in Kaysa and Brownie, and what is better then 1 but 2. As much as this mighty side can be frustrating to watch, once we finally get our heads in the game we will beat anybody.

  • we were playing a woatful tigers team and only lead with 5 minutes to go. Im glad we got the two points but gee is there a big gap in playing ability in this team

  • Kaysa is not a 80 minute half wake up to yourself. Taka yes a superstar auvva yes he will e a super signing. We need a 80minute dummy half !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good last 25 minutes, still fairly soft in defence the last 10 though.

We haven't chased a dummy half because management wrongly put their faith in kaysa to be an 80 min hooker. He is getting shown up by a middle forward. If we can't get a replacement mid season then we need one for next season.

Agree regarding taka, he is one of our best when he is on and no where near one of our worst when he is off
Auvua much improved and was great today, although he will make way for taka if we get Moses unless hoff makes way
  • Sorry Joshua and Fatkat but you obviously didn't read my post. Like I said once our defence is in order our attack clicks, and why have 1 dummy half when you can 2, 1 which is bigger then he thinks which I think is awesome coz he gives his all, and 1 who can play the whole game and go as hard as he does. I never said that Kaysa was an 80 min half.
  • And sorry again Joshua but I am pretty sure we scored the 1st try today.
  • They were strong today.  Auva'a is getting better each game as his fitness increases.

  • A very positive outlook, possibly unicorn influenced.
We are a mile off the top sides. ATM our defence around the ruck is unreliable, our execution is clunky, our fitness seems lacking.
Sure if we fix our defence, fix our execution and improve our fitness and commitment we will be right there, but thats a whole lot of if's.
    • Glad you were watching the same game as me My Bob, one win and we are a top 4 side lol.

    • Come on MyBob, crushing and convincing win wasn't it.  My two positives, 1. We won 2. We came from behind to win.  All else, honestly, is still very questionable.

  • Kaysa has potential but to me still isnt a 80min player brown is wasted in hooker hes our brst forward and most likely to offload in traffic. Id use him off the bench with nelson at hooker then sub iff into the utility cover role off the bench
