  • We cannot afford him. He is on 850k a season at dogs. We have the forwards to win a comp. We need to find an X factor in the spine or really develop Dylan.

    • Yep

      • Explain why dogs are shit. People before Dean Pay really fucked up their salary cap.

    • We need more depth in our forwards, the team has gone backwards since RCG out injured.

We need to be able to rotate and rest players in high collision/effort areas.

      Scott

      • RCG, Junior, Mahoney, Brown, Papalii, Matterson, Lane, Nuikore, Kafusi, Lussick, Roache, Stone, Hipgrave, Cartwright, Greig, not to mention Makatoa ( recently played).  Hughes, Hollis in development.  How much forward depth do you want? Sadly our forwards have taken a hit at a crucial time with injuries but we have the depth and rotation to fill in.  Chasing the collision, might not be helping.  Backs are out issue, not the forwards.

        • What quality is really in that list though and how many of them are big bodies like Props?

          Not many.

          Scott

          • Are you for real or just agitating? Junior Paulo 188cm 123kg, RCG 193cm 115kg,  Matto 194cm 107kg, Lane 198cm 110kg,  Greig 192cm 124kg,  Nuikore 188cm 106kg, Hollis 196cm 105kg,  Hughes 103cm 111kg.  These guys are then well balance with so called smaller ( not in reality ) players like Nathan Brown, Stone, Hipgrave etc.  The game has chnaged.  We have a large and athletic pack of forwards. We also have depth.  We however, have a stupid game plan.

            • We don't have the forwards to play the style Arthur wants to play.

We would have a good pack if Arthur played the forwards to their strengths.

              Scott

              • It's the structure and chasing the collision and front loading bs that has derailed our season..

Our forwards aren't or barely offloading anymore, our attack is lacklustre, we have no shape defensively!

Clearly something is going on and the players are affected..

                • I agree Pride, for us to have maintained our form we needed greater depth in those high collision positions.

For years we have relied on RCG and Paulo in terms of Props but we have realistically needed more to cover them.

People can argue that we have plenty of forwards but most of them are back rowers.

                  Yours truly,

                  Scott
