I can't help but acknowledge how much an improved team Canterbury have become . They are 2nd best defensive team in the comp. They are starting to tear broncos a new one .
defence structure is easily the best I have seen this year.
I don't think they have that much a greater squad than our team but the supreme fitness and team first work ethic is great to watch . We desperately need a Connor fullback and more speed . They are so well coached .

A couple of years ago, myself and some others said the dogs would be a top 8 side and we would drop down the bottom.

I thought without Crichton the dogs would struggle today but they haven't missed a beat - ciraldo has tapped into the dogs DNA, they gain confidence through their defence and hard work - when the controversy around training techniques was reported it was abvious the club means business now, once they add a gun middle and halfback a title is just around the corner for them.I agree they are well coached just like the Panthers, if our club is any hope of success it's has be built around defence.
Thing is people are here would be like "I knew it" and "oh how embarrassing" etc.
Good on them, they did it the right way and has worked out. Cannot fault them on how they have handled themselves in developing this club and Ciraldo has done a masterful job with their defence. If they win a comp before us, so be it what can you do?
Difference is dogs are now built for long term success, unfortunately for us our club likes to dip their toe...
The dogs are so far in front of Parramatta as club it's not funny, look at what both the dogs leagues club and football club boards have been able to do and the people they have recruited to turn club around .
Then look at the rubbish the people who run Parramatta have given us.
Agree Fong, something definitely needs to change at boardroom level they've redefined the term stability...
