Dogrefs 12 beat Eels 6

In another great display by the Dogrefs, they were able to put a dent into the Eels aspirations for a top 4 birth. Man of the match undoubtedly goes to Dogref number 18 who finished the game with somewhere 23 whistle assists and puts him at the top of the end of season golden whistle awards. The turning point of the game was no doubt the impressive penalty try which gave the Dogrefs the victory.

    • Agree totally  brisssy eel.  We won't get any 50/50 calls next week  either prob not for rest of the year.  The BA haters will just blame BA and turn a blind eye to the bad calls we receive. I'm proud  as punch with this team and what they have achieved this year

      • I... I.... I .....Parramate2 .  I am as proud as punch as you are too . Great expression. Cheers mate .

    • I liked the part where they asked Billy Slater the worst offender in the history of the game yet never got penalised his thoughts . Billy’s response was to highlight how Moses cost his team two points .

Youd think Slater would’ve condemned the decision since he defended his rights to lead with the feet so often as just his “ technique “

  • Ref should’ve told Jackson to get back when he came in to harass Brown and have a go  - if he didn’t get back in his cage the ref should’ve immediately sent him to cool down. Hated that Brown was the lone eel amongst a pack of dogs after that -not the end of the world, but the whole thing didn’t look right considering where it started from under the refs nose.

  • Stop looking for excuses, we lost cause we played shit. If we were good enough none of these calls would matter. The fact we only managed 1 try with all the possession we had in their half is why we lost.

      • Mate we just weren't good enough full stop. Take the refereeing out of it still don't matter cause our team wasn't good enough to win. It wasn't like we controversially lost, we didn't even look very threatening let alone scoring enough points. We were solidly beaten by a team on the bottom of the ladder.

      • Does that mean you're also going to give yourself an uppercut cause you didn't like my opinion on a fan forum??

        • Lol.
