With Jarryd, fingers crossed backing up after origin does our bench change in case he can't go the full 80mins? Does one of the 4 forwards drop off the bench for a back?
I think we have enough rotations in the backline to play him smartly and give him breathers, and IMO need the 4 forwards on the bench to match the Panthers pack. They do have some size there.
Hoppa, Sio and even Norman can drop back to full-back at times if needed leaving Jarryd to float around in defence and attack if the lungs need a break before launching the Hayne plane full throttle.
What do you think?

He is a different player this year, really has turned into a leader. I know it's not his only motivation but leading the Dally M's helps to want to get out there and bank some more points.
I reckon you're spot on Bert...Hayne can take the field & be used sparingly at times...he can usually see when he needs to get his hands on the ball when required, he doesn't have to be the standout player o Friday night, just a contributor with the forward pack standing right up to the challenge of the big panthers pack & Sandow taking the controls to create space for the likes of Semi,Hoppa,Tonga & Sio....but I'm very hopeful that Jarryd at least takes the field coz I reckon the players just feel much more confident when they know he's on the field with them! I think we'll win for sure if Hayne backs up...otherwise its 50/50
Hit the nail on the head Bailey. One thing I know is that we will definitely need Hayne at some point in the match. He was instrumental in us getting over the Panthers in the second half in our last clash with them. Either way I can't wait to get to Panthers Stadium on Friday night. Hopefully another win for the good guys.
I will be so p!ssed if he is "rested" as we're travelling over 100km to go to the game & not surprisingly he's my son's favourite.
i would play hayne. but the difference this year to last year, is we all relied on hayne to make a play. This year we have norman, and peats helping sandow. I would tell hayne to only chime in when u want to. Dont push it as last year he pushed it againts the roosters and pulled his hamstring chasing a kick
