I dont remember seeing moses kick a cleary/burton style floating bomb, the one that terrorised waqa on friday night. Maybe they should spend the week practising it with waqa catching. Appears to be a very good tactic, one that would enhance mitch's long kicking game?

I have no doubt that MM is already capable of doing them.
The end over end kick allows for more accurately in where you can place the ball. Mitch's goal is getting them up high and landing it inside the opposition's ten metre area and forcing them to start their set from there. The floating torpedo is an attacking kick that is less accurate but can come up with the kind of results they got out of Waqa on Friday.
He does and has used it a bit last year but we tend to be needing a kick for territory or a attacking kick
I think he needs more variety than just a straightforward kick up top deep into their backfield. He needs to try spiral bombs as well. Too predictable at times what he's gonna do.
He did em first 5 or 6 rounds this season with great success but then completely stopped. Not sure why. Surely BA could've acted as a coach and told him to keep putting them up. Only a complete idiot only puts up end over end kicks/bombs. Torp bombs are easy to kick and even kick with accuracy.
Our issue isn't Moses it's DBrown not helping him out .
Could not agree more. Moses already writes the theme tune, sings the theme tune - time for DB to contribute some more.
He should also become a better goal kicker than Cleary this week too.
That bomb takes lots of practice but I do think it is a good idea that Moses starts to learn that art. He resorts to the bomb way too frequently so adding difficulty and time in the air will be beneficial. That bomb requires the laces to hit the flattest part of the ball, but if you slightly miscue it goes off either side, so a lot of practice is required.
As I pointed out ages ago, the wingers need to spend a day under the bomb machine. If Moses can practice at the same time, very good, but they should have bomb machine tech I would have thought.
Didn't we have Andrew John's teaching him all his tricks kicks last year....
Of course he knows how to do them buggered if we know why he doesn't use them but all our kickers do the same thing so it must be the game plan
Bingo!
