some have, some haven't. dogs, titans, tigers, newcastle sides are worse then last year.
sharks, st george manly souths [burgess] parra brisbane [teo, roberts] penrith [merrin hiku martin] warriors[luke rts robson] have improved there squads.
Cowboys Roosters Melbourne no change.
I reckon most squads improve each year, on paper. Also the level of overall experience improves for alot of squads.
Consistently performing to potential is the key for me.
And, of course, it isn't exactly a level playing field. The draw plays a huge roll.
The amount a team improves, on paper, from one year to the next should really be quite relevant to how shite they were the year before, how thier cap is being managed, and whether they have any cash.
Ironically the top teams have hardly bought anyone of note, teams such as Broncs and Cows. In fact Roosters have probably gone backwards, as have Dogs, and Storm with player losses. Rabbits an unknown quantity, strengthened their forwards but weaker in backs and with disquiet in the squad. Two teams well off the pace are Titans and West Tigers, both destined to fight out for wooden spoon along with Knights imo.
