Does anyone watch UK superleague?

There seems to be a few guys coming out and doing well, and there is a lot of Aussie talent.

I'd be interested if anyone watched the game and could comment on the form of

Terry Campese

Todd Carney

Chris Sandow

Kevin Locke

Krisnan Inu

Dave Taylor

Glenn Stewart

Justin Horo

Joel Monoghan

Or any others I've missed.

I hear Sticky has signed last years man of steel. Something Hardaker?

They say he has a wrap sheet that makes Todd Carney look like a Choir Boy.

  • Let's break it down.

Terry Campese: In and out of the side due to injury but has had some good form in the last 2-3 weeks.
His season stats read as: 1 try assist, 39 tackles, 5 missed tackles, 0 tackle breaks, 28 runs/carries. 151 total run metres, 4.32m average per run, 5 errors, 4 goals, 2 offloads & 1 penalty conceded.

Todd Carney: A big reason behind the recent resurgence from Catalans. He's their go to play-maker, is embracing the role and is signed up long-term with the club.
    His season stats read as: 4 tries, 16 try assists, 199 tackles, 30 missed tackles, 26 tackle breaks, 128 runs/carries, 716 total run metres, 5.59m average per run, 4 line-breaks, 12 errors, 1 40/20, 4 goals, 12 offloads & 3 penalties conceded.

Chris Sandow: Close to the form half of the competition. Scoring tries and setting them up for fun, and he has become Warrington's most important player.
    His season stats read as: 9 tries, 18 try assists, 120 tackles, 34 misses tackles, 33 tackle breaks, 97 runs/carries, 728 total run metres, 9.61 average per run, 11 line-breaks, 1 drop-goal (a brilliant one at that), 18 errors, 1 40/20, 6 goals, 5 offloads & 7 penalties conceded.

Kevin Locke: Not affiliated with a Super League side at present. Not sure on his status.

Krisnan Inu: Joined Catalans late-ish this year and was decent, but did his knee and is out for the season.
    His season stats read as: 2 tries, 5 try assists, 135 tackles, 14 misses, 19 tackle breaks, 51 runs/carries, 513 total run metres, 10.06m average per run, 4 line-breaks, 9 errors, 8 offloads & 12 penalties conceded.

Dave Taylor: Has been a machine in the forward pack for Catalans. Has played a bit of back-row, prop and lock, given injuries or players dropped due to form.
His season stats read as: 5 tries, 5 try assists, 270 tackles, 19 missed tackles, 44 tackle breaks, 187 runs/carries, 1576 total run metres, 8.76m average per run, 4 line-breaks, 16 errors, 18 offloads & 17 penalties conceded.

Glenn Stewart: Performing decently but not a stand-out at Catalans so far. His season stats read as: 2 tries, 3 try assists, 666 tackles, 41 missed tackles, 21 tackle breaks, 196 runs/carries, 1114 total run metres, 5.68m average per run, 3 line-breaks, 4 errors, 8 offloads & 12 penalties conceded.

Justin Horo: In and out of games. A tad inconsistent but is holding down a relatively regular back-row spot for Catalans. His season stats read as follows: 4 tries, 3 try assists, 251 tackles, 34 misses tackles, 20 tackle breaks, 145 runs/carries, 1011 total run metres, 6.97m average per run, 3 line-breaks, 11 errors, 1 offload & 6 penalties conceded.

Joel Monaghan: Not as productive as he was last year or 2014 at Warrington, but early injuries kept him out of the side until recently. Has been playing more centre than wing. His season stats read as: 5 tries, 1 try assist, 79 tackles, 9 missed tackles, 17 tackle breaks, 120 runs/carries, 983 total run metres, 8.19m average per run, 6 line-breaks, 13 errors & 7 penalties conceded.

As for Zak Hardaker, he is a tremendous talent. Has been destined for big things in SL for some years now and is head and shoulders above the majority of his competition. A couple of injuries this year - nothing major - but niggling enough that he hasn't played as often as he would have liked.
Wouldn't go as far as to say that his wrap sheet makes Carney look like a choir boy, but he is very rough around the edges. Maturing slowly but when he's on the field and in form, there are few better.
At least 5 NRL clubs are keen on him for 2017.

His stats read as follows: 1 try, 2 try assists, 102 tackles, 21 missed tackles, 55 tackle breaks (the most of any player at Leeds), 234 runs/carries, 1400 total run metres, 5.98m average per run, 6 line-breaks, 21 errors, 4 goals, 17 offloads, 6 penalties conceded & 1 sin-bin.
