Does a win V Newcastle change the vibes ?

Lot of negativity on social media ect around the club atm, but I think if we can get a win on the weekend and build into the next couple of games all that can go away. We might be equal last currently but the competition is still very close at the moment. Hopefully the fellas can dig in v the knights and start something.

  • Wins fix everything.

    • Obviously put the coaching and roster issues aside, I think these guys can still play some good footy. Just need to start getting some results

    • We beat Canterbury i feel we seal it against Roosters.

    • Until the coaching staff and senior players realise that ruck and line speed are key in the modern game (six-again rule), this team is no chance. Every good teams are already doing this and have recruited the right  body type players. Parra are still playing 80's style footy with big slow forwards still looking for 'post contact' metres, slow play-the-balls and offloading at every chance they get.

Major clean out is needed, starting with a couple of big old forwards and slow outside backs.

  • We haven't been too bad lately and we're in it again against the Roosters.  Our defence however is atrocious and we could easily end up with another spoon which should be appointed to Brad Arthur.

There should be a thousand spoons with ba's name on it delivered to kellyville oval if it happened.

    • Definitely been way more competive last 3 games but that sivo injury really threw the team into a hole. Asi at centre and just poor edge defence. Beat the sharks and then we lost both our starting wingers with no depth to cover

  • I cant see them getting out of this hole any time soon. Newcastle aren't close to the best team in the comp, but they are still well within the bracket of teams able to make a finals run. Their roster isnt miles ahead of ours on paper, and i think this game will come down to who wants it more, and in any game where will power has been the key factor , Parra has been left in the dust.

    • Knights team is solid but their halves let them down. If they had Moses and brown with ponga at flb would be a top 4 side. As long as Moses backs up we a good chance of rolling them but need to play well.

    • I'm not going - I usually do when it's at home but I think the psychological factor of us being at the bottom is going to seep into their " lazy" gear and they won't have the grunt ....

and I'm poor and it's a rip off - might go to my local and hope everyone's at the game 🤔😆

hate losing against the knights 😞

      • I was going to go looked at the prices and changed my mind very quickly
