In Seeing how quickly Maguire jumped to the Broncos got me thinking if we missed out. Our finding a coach fiasco happened in the middle of the SOO where, as reported by many commentators, it would have been a bad look had Maguire not seem like he was focused on the Blues job. Can't help but think if we had sacked BA at the end of the year - Maguire may well have been our coach.

Everything happens for a reason, maybe this was meant to be. Let's just get behind Jason and see where this next chapter takes us. As far as I can see everyone is doing everything they are supposed to be doing to take us in the right direction.

How's that Scott Foil goin' mate. You fuckin' dominating? :)
Hey mate, how have you been? It's going ok, you know how Shimano had that recall for crank failures well my drive side crank shat itself. All good got a new set for free under warranty (if you are running 165mm ultegra cranks I can give you a left side stages power meter crank for free). Got to say I'm not a big fan of disk brakes, I don't think they are any better than rim brake and there's more frigging around with them. I'm a man of leisure now so as long as the weather is good I'm out every day. I wouldn't say dominating, you'd have to talk to Tadej about that haha.
Good to hear mate. Yeah, all good, busy but good :)
I do run Ultegra but so far no problem with my cranks - obviously you're putting a shit load more watts thru your drivetrain than me:)).
I'm with ya on discs; good performance compared to rim brakes on carbon but ALWAYS rubbing. Takes forever to sorta get them right then you take the wheel out and it's back to square one. Nightmare. Look good though!
Take care mate:)
You maybe right EAM but I think we are very well placed overall. That 3/4 months of extra time will in my view be a real bonus to the incoming coach and make for my positive views towards next year.
Going a step further, we seem to have obtained an innovator with progressive ideas. I don't think Maguire would do great benefit in the longer term, but he may have achieved some short term gratification.
I think we are very lucky to be standing where we are given all the alternatives. Only time will tell of course.
Seriously what would you know about hiring a NRL coach?
An " innovator " 😂, tell us more ? Hes recruited a few players no different to any other coach so what makes him an innovator in your eyes ? Genuinely intrested . Hes released or not re-signed two of our better players this season and we have not heard a single peep yet about his plans for captaincy or positions other than he may play our broken down lanky fullback as a lock forward. Some may say that's innovative , I guess if you're someone who's overly optimistic.
Im not saying Ryles may not be an innovative coach when we finally get to witness his style and methods first hand , I'm just curious how you've come to this conclusion at such an early stage with such limited information to date ?
Well it just that you don't mix in the right circles Wiz. why would he tell you anything, you are not exactly here very often. BTW that system you use doesn'twork on me.
For your interest....."a person who introduces new methods, ideas, or products"
I think his initial choice of coaches is innovative..
What's innovative about his assistants ? Ones from Union , hardly Robinson Crusoe there. Then you have the old , stale , games past his coaching style a decade ago, Nathan Brown. Browns as innovative as a pair of left footed shoes.
Why so negative bro, cannot remember the last time you commented something positive.
