We all know how effective the use of poms has been for the Raiders. They have arguably the best hooker in the game in Hodgson. They have arguably one of the best second rowers in Bateman and Whitehead. This year they filled another gap with a Pom in their half with Williams.
So the question I have is that if it's good for Canberra then why can't we fill some obvious gaps in our team the way Canberra have with theirs?
Where are our issues? I say centre. English Super League have a fellow by the name of Zac Hardaker that is killing it. Another problem position is winger. Fergo is playing poorly and Sivo's defence is questionable at best. Super league has Tommy Makinson. An absolute gun.
One of my favourite Parra players is Reed Mahoney but he needs help and a fellow by the name of Darryl Clark from Warrington could be a great solution.
I also think Lane has gone off the boil. The super league have a number of very good back rowers that carry the ball with ferocity and are hard arses. In the same grain as Bateman. We need this type. I suppose this sentence has opened up the smart arse Hock comments!!! So I have saved you the effort!
Thoughts ladies and gents?

Our record with signing Poms is not good
So we close that door do we? Remember Justin Poore? So we don't look at St George players?
He became Justin Rich after signing with us
Very funny ol mate. GOLD
No!
I understand your view but I think we can back our team. I assume you want super league players to spark our attack given super league has an all out attack mentalty. I don't blame you given how bad our attack has been off recent. However, as shown in the start of the year, we have the players to play a great brand of attacking footballers. So its not like we have to learn so many things but rather redo what we did at the start of the year. So I am backing that Moses will soon recpature his running game and BA will surely stop this one out approach in this game plans.
With Sivo, unless he recaptures his form from last year, I am more than happy for eels to offer him to other clubs and we buy someone much smarter than him. As you stated he is horrible in defence, and these days it looks like he can barely run. Most of the tries he scored as served on a plate for him so its not really his incredible talent that has got him those tries. It's mainly been the work of Gutho or Jenko. In regards to Blake, I think he stil has a future year depsite his defensive errors. He and Fergo are never in trouble defending when they slide so he needs to continue to do that. Whenever either of them rush out (mainly Blake) this always causes troubles for our defence. I personally believe we should buy another winger/centre for depth and to put more pressure on our outside backs to perform.
I really like Stone, so I don't think we need someone no replace Stone. Just use Stone of the bench. In regards to depth, I heard Kyle Schedier (no idea how to spell it sorry) is a very promising hooker but I don't know how ready he is. His progress will obviosuly be more delayed as he hasn't played any games.
In regards to Lane, I think everyone has been slightly to harsh on his peformances. Obviosuly he hasn't been as good as last year but still has been alright. He needs to recapture his runs where he steps right before the line.
BE, I would be tempted to give a 100% IRON CLAD gurantee on that score.
Not all dogs are like that lush you have Popps.
Anyhow............................................
Hock for sure
