Do we play as a team or as individuals. I note a couple of in goal kicks without followers . Moses does well with connectivity with Papalipi which is great. It doesn,t happen that much with others.Sometimes we have good patches of play but not consistent. Our defence is a standout concern.
Adam Reynolds seems to be one of the best players going around who has the spirit of connectivity. A role model for those who aspire to be connectors

Watching an interview with the Broncos lads in the sheds after the game and they were buzzing with admiration for Reynolds . I don't think our guys even seem like they'd have each other's phone numbers . Gutherson , Moses , Brown and Reed don't seem to have any kind of connection . Maybe it's just me , but I've never seen any kind of sign that they'd be anything more than guys that play in the same team .
4 totally different kind of humans with no chemistry on the paddock or off it is how they come accross to me .
I swear Moses and Gutherson hate each other .
Nah they're good mates. There's no issues there. The squad all get on well I'm told.
For mine the issue is complacency. The 17 is basically locked in, they expect to play finals, they get up for big games but just expect other results to happen. Gutho even said when they were behind they knew they could come back. That confidence is good is one way but it also shows apathy. It's ok for the other team to score because we'll score again too.
Just a general lack of urgency, a lack of attention to detail, it's all a bit casual. BA needs to read them the riot act and quickly. They need to feel some heat and raise their own standards.
Did you see how filthy Munster was after their loss? He almost couldn't speak. Said they played like under 12's. He was absolutely furious that they were well below the standard they set themselves. Our boys seem to just shrug their shoulders and look to next week. Something significant needs to change in the playing group or this season could go sideways.
Yes I saw how filthy Munster was , I also see how filthy Moses get . But you know who's never filthy and sits in the pressers like he's a child at his birthday party ? Our captain . I don't agree he and Moses are good , the body language says other wise .
I've thought the same thing about Gutho and Moses. They don't seem like great mates and just put up with each other on a professional level.
I was surprised to hear DB say in an interview recently that Reed is his closest mate at the club.
Coryn I was thinking of you when I posted this .Can our spine actually do much better. Are they actually not far of their peak. Can you develop your connectivity skills to a higher standard or are they close to their peak. I am thinking of gifted players early in their careers like Thurston,Cleary, Sam Walker ( who will be great) Reynolds, get much better with connectivity ability. It seems to me that those skill sets can,t be learnt. They are innate / instinctual. We have some great individual players. My main issue is can their ability reach greater heights with an X factor player to get the most out of them consistently. I personally don't know.
Adam Reynolds is an awesome player and Broncos lucky and smart enough to have chased him. Like Cleary both playing for less and happy.
No they're all best mates. Brown and reed little closer to each other, Moses and gutho the other way.
