Do our Eels need to be psychologically assessed individually?

I'd really love to hear Brad Arthur's last 3 half time speaches including todays game, as well as our 2 Finals games just 6 months ago.

We were leading at half time in all 3 of the games that I mentioned. What did Brad Arthur say to them?
Did he say "I'm happy with this, and happy with that, keep doing what you've been doing"?

What causes our players to return to the field in the second half with a mind-set that seems like they've been hypnotized and told "It's your mission to do everything you possibly can to make sure your opponents have as close to 100% ball possession as possible to take the victory away from us. It really seems that way to me.

What has really changed? We've gone from self destructing for most of the 80 minutes to only self destructing in the 2nd half.

This team could win most of their games this season and finish top 4 again. And then what? Tell the media and us, their supporters, that this years finals performance will be different because "We've spoken about the way we exited in straight sets last year and we owe it to our fans"?

We could win our last 10 games of the regular season and this team will be leading their finals match at half time, only to return in the second stanza with a mindset of "Let's give em' all the ball possession we can through dropped balls and penalties so that we can reward our long suffering fans with ANOTHER BROKEN HEART".

You only gotta look at last season when we won 5 or 6 consecutive games then got urinated on by the Knights at Homebush and allowed them to win their first away game in at least 2 seasons as well as their third consecutive win for the first time in probably 3 seasons.

I know it's round one and our boys did it tough out there in the heat today, (31c in the shade) but there is something seriously wrong happening in our sheds at halftime for our players to be running back out there in the second half trying their best to replicate an under 12's performance both with their discipline & their ball control.
Hell, we even got penalized whilst in possession of the ball today and gave the Panthers their only 2 points since we got back to having 13 men on the field for the last 15 mins.

I believe the half time massages with happy ending have been stopped. Could be the reason.

I was at the game and saw that we went to shit after mannah and Alvaro went off no super sub Kenny Edwards to come on and keep the ball rolling, only a lazy ass Evans lol. A few dodgey calls kept the momentum penriths way but yer. Also missing Semi getting our sets started. Hoffman may of scored two tries but gets monstered on kick returns. Takka to centre and Hayne on the wing and rotate with French

  100%. We lost our way once Mannah, Alvaro and tepai came off. Edwards gets a spot next week for sure at the expense of Matagi. Avaa has to go in my opinion. He's too slow to be a winger and always gets caught out in defence.

incorrect. they're arent enough Jewish players. Cohen hess anyone? or Vikings. Magnus Stromquist anyone?
