Hi all - first post in about 3 years. Is there a chance BA has tried to change his strategy from "front loading" which hasn't worked the last few years but is struggling to actually pull it off?Im not a unicorn by any measure however we have all noticed the last few years we have started off great guns and faded at the end. This year we look as though we have no mental consistency which just doesn't disappear in 12 months. Can we hope that BA and the coaching staff are "keeping their powder dry" so to speak ? We have beaten the top 3 contenders for the premiership on their home grounds - are we assuming too much that BA is actually priming / not priming the team for different games this year with the goal of reversing last year and rising at the end...... but not quite capable of doing it smoothly?

Oh wait Brad is our saviour ... He managed the team during the salary cap ... hilarious s**** from our unicorns in our club
I'd maybe agree with you if we were entrenched in the top 4. At this rate, we'll struggle to be there.
"Keeping your powder dry' is a dangerous psychological game to play. Not sure BA is smart enough.
Keeping the powder dry until we miss the 8 completely. Top 4 looks a foregone conclusion and we all know that its impossible to win it from 7th or 8th.
It's not an easy run home either, it's unlikely but there is a chance we could miss the 8 altogether.
Exactly
Based on our on/off form we could win all or none of remaining games.
I can only see 1 definite win at home v Warriors.
The games against Tigers and Bulldogs we might win. But we should have won those previously and didn't.
The 2 Broncos games are going to be difficult but could get a win or even 2.
The game at Manly also difficult. Same as above.
Then we have South's at home ...hmmmm
Just leaving Penrith and Melb at home - who knows.
Hopefully we can start a big run into the finals and give the team confidence.
Wouldn't it be better to win 4 loose 4 how many games is a finals series
Your not a unicorn and we won't bow out in the most embarrassing circumstances
I don't think BA is clever enough for such a strategy.
Change everything in our club , from management to our coach. Sack the coach ask Clint and other dopey to look somewhere. As Mahoney and others who are leaving, to f**** off. Get a SAS trainer in our club . Bring people like sterling to manage our club not that O'Neill...
BA has done his job and is now on the decline. The Parra Eels need to recognise this and make the hard decision to replace him whilst the team is still in a position to move forward
