Interesting we only used 3 off the bench last night. Seems ridiculous that Bryce Cartwright didn't get a run in a game like that yet Ice had to play 80 minutes!

I think we would have seen Carty if we were behind and needed points. No point putting him out there to drop a ball, push an errant pass or miss a tackle when we were leading
If the team could trust his defence he'd have definitely played. If we were chasing points he probably would have played. His defence is horrible and in a tight game like that you can't risk him.
Exactly. There is no need to play Bryce when we need to defend for the game. He is only needed if we need a spark in our attack or we have easily won the game already. Against the best teams RCG and Paulo always play 50-60 minutes. I hope to see Perham in the 14 instead of Carty once Blake or Russel or Sivo return
Exactly Muttman. Cartwright is a dead set liability in defence. Having said that he should never have been picked for a game against the Panthers!
Regardless how we win or who plays or doesn't there is always someone who will complaint about something. How about the game did not pan out to warrant using Cartwright?!
If he can't be risked what's the point of him being there at all?

Its a nod mate to the Sack BA brigade , that no matter what BA does good or bad, they want him gone. Reverse psychology so to speak. ie why question his bench rotation when we just beat the riff in their own home.
