Did the Warriors ruin Dylan Brown

Dylan Brown had loads of potential that he has not developed. He is a tough kid that is happy to take the line on. But he never passes or kicks at the line. He seems to pass immediately or just run it. Defence have no hard decisions. He also had a run of dropping the ball with no pressure. Seems to me his mind is elsewhere. Give a young bloke $700K per year and stardom = girls throwing themselves at him and not surprising he finds better things to do than concentrate on his footy and get early nights before the game. He never really deserved $700K per year that was forced due to the a warriors offer and based on his potential. Maybe I am guessing wrong and out of line but he seems to me that if he does not get a wake up call soon he will be a could have been.

  • BA jr and Moses are the future.

Dylan would make a great right edge centre.

    • I can't understand this, we thrashed Dyllan to peices last week and we are into him again.

Someone prove he is on 700k.....I don't give a fcul what Zero tackle say, what do they know that we don't already?

My understanding he was on about 540/550 with bonuses on the way.....don't think he would have hit any yet!

  • I think he was chosen in FG too soon. It might be the wrong thing to say, but, putting it bluntly, I think he has a bit of a big head, plus if the figure is correct Wile, that is a ridiculous amount of money for a 19 year old. ( at the time of him signing the contract) As you know, I have never been a Dylan fan. He might defend ok, but I have rearly seen him make a line break, let alone dominate a game. When he made that break recently, ( dogs or Broncs, can't remember which one)  I thought, " here we go". He was a mile in front, and dropped the ball. What is Joey doing with him I wonder? I really think he needs time in the lower grades to get some confidence and come down I peg or two, but of course BA won't do that.

    • He hasn't put Lane or anyone else into a gap this year. No line break assists.

      • That's because every time he puts Lane into a gap, Lane drops the ball.

        • Yep. Lane decoy runs and catching had let D Brown down. Thats why Lane is so much better in the middle now.

          • we won't have that problem anymore

            • Yep. I am happy. Hopefully, when Blake returns to the centres, Niukore goes to the backrow near D Brown. I think this will really help D Brown's game. Lane and Kaufusi will be good in the middle from the bench. Carty goes on the edge when he comes on and either Ice or Niukore can go to the middle.
