  i didn't see it... Maybe there is still some ill feeling between the 2..
  
  I did see Hayne doing something with his hands at the end of the game, he was doing a diamond shape continually, that was towards Anthony Whatmough, who was sledging Hayne through the game, he signalling a Diamond performance...

  yeah i noticed that. looked unusual on tele when i watched the replay. didnt notice it at the game

  Apparently, it was reported in the press that Watmough had sledged him just before he threw the pass to Grothe for the winning try. He yelled at Hayne, "It's either rocks or diamonds".

  I taped the game and just rewarched that bit and yeah he definitely brushes grothe. There's something there but I'm sure they'll sort it out.

  Must say, whenever Hayne scores or sets up a try he tends to celebrate by himself. Notable examples include his chip and chase tries against the Warriors and Tigers last year, as well as the try he set up for Mortimer against Penrith as well as his amazing effort against the Dragons in the first week of the finals.
  
  Not sure if he's necessarily brushing his team mates - and Grothe was reported in the media today as intuitively knowing that Hayne was about to produce that pass. That doesn't sound to me like two blokes who aren't singing from the same hymn sheet.

  Perhaps but grothe grabbed at his shoulder and hayne seems to pull away from him give a bit of a look too. After initiating the super slow mo function On my DVD player to check, my call is there is something there, but I'm sure they'll work it out.

    I hope there is nothing in it, but I don't know. My gut feeling is telling me that somethings up.
    
    Bourbon Man I know what you are saying, but I don't think that Grothe would be spilling his lollies to the media.
    
    Take for example when Eric was asked by the media today what D Anderson was saying to him at half time (there was a camera shot at half time with DA pointing like he was having a go at Eric). Eric just smile and said that DA said to just keep on doing what you are doing, which was great job and then he rolled his eyes.

  my bro just called me about the same thing.! wtf i didnt c it but he said it was uncomfortable on the tv. there grown men im sure they can deal with it.

  It's not really surprising. Football is their job, you don't always get on with your colleagues 100% of the time. However, if your a professional you put aside your differences to get the job done.
