Dialogue has been good apparently between Paulo and Parramatta with the Prop predicted to agree to terms. The last time Riccio predicted a player to re-sign it was Mahoney.

It's a bit harsh to ever begrudge a player one final big pay day.

I kind of agree on that front. Paulo chased the money once and his career took a dive.
Paulo did not chase the money.
He was sent there to distance himself from bad influences.
He was the bad influence. He chased the money.
Wiz the events with him at the star casino, playing union near Sutherland, a smash issue on the roads and certain other eels players who were not good influences saw him move to Canberra to get away from that scene.
He was not that happy with the move but he was close enough to family in Sydney to see them a fair amount.
He's not just any prop though. He puts in some serious minutes and is a ball player as well.
I'd go $725k at least, he's only getting better..... As Mahoney was.
$800k per season is a good offer from the eels and if paulo is smart he will take it.
I would go as high as $850k, front rowers win you comps.
Coryn, the numbers are meaningless, who's to say a new sponsorship deal with TV and the cap is up 4 mill.
In some ways they are spending money they haven't received yet!
