Development club LOL!!

In the last few months we have lost 12 juniors count them 12 juniors, i know we can't keep them all and most of these blokes probably won't crack first grade but............

Stefano Utoikamanu,
Salesi Fainga’a
Tyler Field
Joe Taipari,
Tyrone Faulkner
Vea Tapaatoutai
Etu Vinny Lui
Tui Afualo
Bailey Biondi-Odo
William Kei
Trey Mooney
Jesse Cronin

But when you do have a highly talented junior capable of playing rep footy you have keep them, what is the point of calling yourself a development club when you can't even hang onto the keepers.

Whats the point of pumping millions into Juiniors where you are incapable of keeping end the star kids.  Mark O'Neill is a reactive plonker.  It's hardly a shock he's beloved Tigers have poached 7 of them.  Didn't they give this trolley boy a glowing recomendation???    I said at the time when people on here were creaming their jeans the best bloke we couild hire is a sacked trolley boy from the west tigers???

This gimp has been trying to sign Brown and Mahoney all season what has he been doing???   I've heard we've lost a fair few kids not because of money but  of his dithering, they didn't even recieve offers eventually going elsewhere sick of waiting.   It seems like we are back where we were under Hagan and Anderson, juniors are just neglected while they worry about the top side.  Look where that got us.

*Waits for my mate Lurker to spin this into a positive for the club.....

  • @ Seth i think you wanted a list of the lost juniors here it is buddy.

    • Completely agree

Lots of negativity on this site so it is like the boy who called wolf - not talking about you Alan but I can’t remember where it comes from. But Sixties is always positive so that article was a shock

        • All good mate.

  • Excellent article on the TCT about this very thing, when even they are being critical there is something wrong.

  • The majority of those players you listed will never make first grade. You’re a cranky man Al. Don’t go spoiling too many crissy parties over the next couple of weeks! Lol

*waits for Al to spruik about how his all consuming negativity is actually reality*

merry Xmas old boy. Got a feeling you ain’t the festive type though! Haha

    • I would agree Nudge but Sixties is saying something similar and he is never critical. So agree with Alan - can’t dismiss this without looking closely

      • Sixties isn’t always right. We’ll be fine with next years roster which can only improve more over the next couple of months.

    • You must of missed the bit where i said most of these blokes likely won't make first grade mate.

Hardly cranky at all, we have the happy clappers in here who think everything is great and the club can't do no wrong surely a bit of perspective in allowed in here.  And i get very festive don't you worry about that.

      • I’m sure you do Al. Just stirrin.  You have to admit, since the 2016 nightmare, the club has done well in recovering. I never get my hopes up most years but next year I’ll be disappointed with anything less than top 4. Even you have to admit they have recovered well as a club. Surely you’re happy with where we are at now?
