Des Hasler Re-signs With Dogs Till End Of 2019

Heading says it all, theres going to be some upset dogs fans, i dont think many on the kennel are too happy with Des's style as coach.

Great stuff. Dogs aren't great under Des.
But surely Des must have put an impressive plan to the Dog's Board for them to re-sign him. Surely not 'more of the same'?
I'd say Des has a few signings he thinks are in his back pocket. Foran for example.
I wonder what Des said to convince the Board.

Very average hooker, half, five/eighth and fullback and still manages to get them to a competitive level. Top notch coach.

  Nitram: One swallow never did make a summer. Last week`s win by the dogs was their second win in their last ten games. It was also played in awful conditions which evened up the two teams. If the dogs directors resigned Hasler on the basis of that one win they are as bone headed as the Eels directors have been for so many years.Let us see what the dogs do for the rest of 2017.

  Recruitment is also a quality of a good coach. Des has had some success but they've been declining for some time now.
