The NRL have awarded David Gower with the Dennis Tutty award for being selfless with his fellow players. As you know I'm a great fan of of DG and this is much deserved. It's a shame other people have valued him more outside Eels average pack.

I'm not sure what the Tutty award is, but I'm a massive fan of DG and he deserves all the awards he gets.
He was often our best player, our most consistent player particularly in tough times of which there have been many in recent years.

I concur. Much underrated.
Gowie is an absolute LEGEND. The guy is always reliable & I love how he is almost a half in a forwards body. Good footy brain & awesome team first guy. I'm wrapped that he gets recognised by the NRL because the Eels fans know how good he is.
