After a spot of reminiscing following Tele 1's posting of old programs, I found myself on an Internet search of ex-Parra players of the 70's. One of the first names I looked at was Denis Pittard, a Kangaroo that we recruited from Souths.My searches only revealed nefarious activities in Asia and possible incarceration overseas. IF this is true, I'm surprised that it was not more newsworthy at the time.It would appear that the deeds might relate to a connection to Nugan Hand Bank in the late 70s and then a more recent scamming issue. This Aussie Hero has claimed to be Australian ambassador to Liberia, claimed to be with the UN claimed to be a Swiss banker and at the end of the day he is just ANOTHER AUSSIE SCAMMER HIDING BUT WE SEE YOU SCAMMING AUSSIE!

Warning when travelling be careful when Aussies start acting friendly or wanna share sob stories as they may like Denis be priming you for a scam. There have been other NRL players who have had "problems", but Pittard was a premiership winning Kangaroo. Why haven't I heard of this through news reports?
