A large portion violated point 4 of the Code of Conduct:

And I'm simply at the point where I'm not going to sift comments and delete individual threads. I'm just going to delete blogs. And if those blogs get re-posted, I'm going to start suspending accounts.
This site used to be purely about football with the odd social blog thrown in. Now it seems every day there's another blog that involves targeting a group of people.
I get the site has become bigger than it once was and I agree that it needs to be a place of boisterous conversation with different elements. But this site is no longer as welcoming as it used to be. Many of the comments I get from people who have left the site is that it's become too abusive and has moved away from what it once was.
Super old son you may wish to pay a bit more attention to the plethora of Hayne blogs that contravene point 4 of the CoC and delete most of those while you are at it.

Now here is something from the legal fraternity you may also like to consider - republishing news or infomation that is readily available elsewhere (media, online etc) is NOT racist, homophobic or any other dammed excuse you choose to use.

You acknowledge the site has become bigger, have you considered why? Then you lament that the site is not what it used to be? Do you mean less popular? I wouldn't too concerned with the few who have left, perhaps we could without the precious few who find the site "too abusive" I would focus on the many more who joined the site because of the entertainment value the site offers thanks to it's colourful characters.
Super, this site is not a politically correct, government controlled, minority based forum. It's a rugby league site FFS, a game that was given birth by grass root, low to middle class families tired of the politically correct bull crap Rugby Union used to dictate a common mans game.
Worry less about the minorities and focus more on the majorities; the more bad "minority" publicity this site receives, the more popular the site becomes.
