I know much would have been written on the game but I am in Norway and have just watched it. I was looking forward to watching it all day but what a disappointment. Defense and attitude were certainly improved and some much needed starch there but the attack took me back to the Kearney days. Under Arthur we have always had plenty of bodies in motion, some off loads and some good block plays but today absolutely nothing. Just seemed no creativity or spontanevity in attack, hardly any good offloads and the halves main play was an inside ball to Brown for a hit up. I still believe that Arthur is a good coach and you don't lose that over night but the attack has to get better. Way better. I can watch a lose when we play some footy but tonight was boring, really boring. Come on you eels. Start to play!!

Where has our attack been for the last 5 years with BA in charge??? The brilliance of Hayne in 14 and Semi till last year papered over some massive cracks. We have a gun backline and they are being totally wasted.
Good individual plays from everybody, from the half back to the fullback. Just nothing doing together.
Taka missing and too much farting around with Princess.
We'll get it together soon.
The need to learn new partnerships and combos will serve us well in the end.
The team was too comfortable with the existing backline structure.
Very harsh blog James... we've scored 1 try and 4 points in 200 minutes of footy... and you have the nerve to suggest our attack is not up to scratch. Jeez...
Our attack is currently non-existent but I also think it inaccurate to say our defense and attitude is back. I know BA said that but the fact is that a truly good defense holds the opposition and gives you a chance to get good field position. Our defense was competent at best against the Sharks, but still conceded too many run meters so that when we got the ball we were always coming off our line or out of our quarter.
The attack is currently one shape: out the back out the back hello sideline.
Something bas went wrong with the coaching and with the form of players
