  I'll go one step further......without GREAT defense you will lose.

  But the secret winners are DISCIPLINE (through on field Leadership).....silly mistakes, penalties, drop balls, etc minimised - Parra certainly have made MASSIVE strides in the last 2 weeks

  and LAST PLAY options....keeping the opposition under the pump, especially well placed pressure kicks...

  Both of these + defense keep the pressure on...defense keeps the castle protected but DISCIPLINE and LAST PLAYS are the polish that earns the victory

  Parra have been outstanding in ALL 3 critical, match defining and winning phases in the past 2 weeks

  Our defence has been the most pleasing part about our evelution into a serious footy team. That old saying is true "defence wins games/premierships", attack will find away to get through by tiering the opposition out. The Eels will go a long way to making the finals and winning a premiership if they keep defending the way they have been.
