Dean pay outsmarted by journos.
Near the end of the press conference Dean was asked about Sivo staying on the field after the high tackle,
Q - "Do you have any issue with Sivo staying on the field near the end of the first half?"
A - "Yeah, well it was a hit in the head. Usually they're looked at pretty seriously, so..."
Then the follow up question,
Q - "Are you concerned Christian was put on report for that, potentially that's another winger out there?"
A - "I'm not too sure. I didn't have a real good look at it. I haven't seen it. So I'll have to have look at it. I don't think there's much in it."
Essentally he took the first question as an opportunity to have a crack at parra for leaving Sivo on the field after being "hit in the head" by Christian Crichton. But then he said he hadn't seen it ("I haven't seen it"). You can't have it both ways Mr Pay. Silly boy.

I thought Crichton was lucky not to have been sin binned.
If Sivo was taken off for concussion the least the refs could have done was put him in the bin for 10mins.
Ferguson for tripping quit while your ahead. I know his leg and knew was already placed so I didn't see it at first until replay.
I think tripping is an automatic 6 week suspension and send off.
Wrong response Parrakeet?
But I do agree with the Ferguson incident, he was lucky to escape on field punishment.
What saved Fergo was his hand was in contact with the Dogs player when he tripped him. The rule is relatively clear that a trip is only when a leg is used to bring a player down.
That's supposed to read his leg and knee were already placed widely fair enough and then replay shows the trip after this.
He already had in the first question but he didn't realise it,
you have to give it to the Dogs they play a very tough brand of footy, without a lot of star players they never roll over,Eels could use a bit more of that quality and they would be world beaters.
Why do you underline everything you post ?
Because he hates using "---" all the time.
Haven't you heard him say "I hate it when people use " ---" every time they quote someone."
(Psst I got ya back Eggy ole mate)
