De ja vu 1995 Bulldogs?

In no means does this give pleasure to praise this mob due mostly to their supporters hounding me for decades in the manner that they do to the stage were I will oppose them in any contest even if it meant world peace would be the outcome. Before I start singing the praises for this side that has over the years been dubbed the entertainers, come back kings or what I like to chuckle about "The Berries" (not that us parra fans can laugh much seeing as though we were once known as the cherry pickers.Anyways I can't help but sense that this current run through the finals that dogs are doing has a very similar smell to when they charged from 6th place to take out 95 premiership. To readers who can recall from that time I'd like refresh their memories in how they brutally bashed the 3 giants of that era in their campaign.Throughout that year the bulldogs suffered some humiliating losses to very some lowly opponents and not to mention the super league saga that almost tore them apart.Il add that one of their was to the mighty eels which happened to be 1 of 3 victories that season placing us 19th in a 20 team competition.Back to the similarities:: That year the dogs scraped into the finals with sudden death victories in the final matches of the regular season to finish 6th.1995 finals- (all elimination) defeated St,George 12-8 in a tough contest.defeated a star studded Brisbane side 24-14 by brutally bashing them (Dean Pay breaks ribs of Glenn Lazarus)defeated reigning premiers Canberra very convincingly 25-6defeated minor premiers manly 17-4 in the GF (manly had lost 2 games all year and leaked an 8 point average.: This year the dogs only won 2 of their last 8 matches to hang onto a 7th place finish.2014 finals- (all elimination) defeated high credentialed Melbourne 24-4 in Melbourne quite easily.defeated finals perennials manly 18-17 after blowing them of the park surging to a 16-0 early.Preliminary final against Penrith? If the dogs can overcome Penrith they'll play either Souths or the roosters who are the premiership heavyweights in the GF.God forbid that history is re-writing itself and after this weekend this whole blog will mean nothing and end up void!

  • Nice bolg Raid. I too can smell it. Freaking dogs.
I just hope your last sentence ends up being true.
I hate their supporters with a passion but am surrounded by the fuckers everyday.
  • Hopefully the Bulldogs lose the GF to the Roosters and then the Roosters are stripped of their title for cheating the cap. Lol
  • So does this mean we get their 3 best players next year.... I'd be happy with just James Graham and Lafai

    • I'd take Josh Jackson as well.

  • Great blog ray but sounds like your giving the bullgrubs a chance .not a good thort
    • Maybe I might curse them
  • Panthers are tougher, they won't roll over for anyone. Did anybody give the Panthers a hope this year? No, me either, yet they keep winning. Win again pennies, for our sanity, please win again. GO PANTHERS!

  • Yeah the panthers may not have the best players but they do have the best team of players. They got rid of the prima donnas and now everyone is equal. Sack Hayne! (just kidding). Still, the prima donnas will win the grand final for you, but the team will get you there. Shit, I've confused myself. More coffee dammit!

  • The Rabbits have a huge wait on there back.

The Roosters won't be feeling the pressure as much.

"Exactly right we have enough versatility to adapt to circumstance.
I still see Jnr as the pack alpha though there are times during the game where it loosens up to much and he gets exposed.Ruck control is so important in the modern game more so now…"
