Semi was allowed to play and train for Parra in the lead up to his trial just like De Bellin can. Don't you remember that first game against the Sharks where the crowd were calling him a wife basher? That was months before his trial.
Yes I remember the sledging he copped and I was aware that he trained and played but it was assumed by Mal the media and in comments from the NRL that Semi was guilty. Like I said why would he stick around after that.
Then there are no double standards if they both could do the same thing (training and playing).The NRL didn't say anything regarding Semi's guilt, the same as they have said nothing about De Bellin's guilt. I think he should be able to train I don't know for certain but word is the girl who accused him has done this before. As you said he is innocent until proven guilty and she has the right to be taken seriously and to go through the process. I think word is he will get off though and hasn't done anything.
In terms of comparisons I think Greg inglis would be a better one to semi. quite a lot of smoke saying he has done it twice and has had it been covered up.
