Great read, he really turned into one of BA's success stories, probably played a year too long but he was a fantastic club man who always had a crack. So glad he got to crack 100 games here a great achievement for him.

Some people think all I do is just bag him. I do give him credit when it's due.
Guth is another success story ,Nathan Brown etc hehas done well with players who fit in well with his style. My biggest problem with him is his tactics or lack of them and his refusal to improve our coaching staff. It pisses me off no end, and in the end it will probably cost him his job down the track.
Let's hope Mark O'Neill's not so subtle dig at his coaching style might jolt him a bit. There's no question he has some of the qualities needed to be a great coach, he's clearly a good communicator, every player who plays for him or who has played for him likes his straight talking approach, he clearly doesn't have time for mind games. He calls a spade a shovel.
But yes Al, there is a clear tactical deficiency there, which is odd given his time under Bellamy in Melbourne.

If he is such a clear communicator then why oh why is he always on about "Dumb mistakes" from the players?
A "clear communicator" would be able to communicate to the players on how to rectify said mistakes.
