David Fifita to test market

David Fifita has indicated his interest to test the market for his value.

Will he be a target for the club or will his price make the club pass on him.

Might take a pay cut for a chance of a premiership, something he will not get staying with the TITS

  • Pass.

    • Agree. If it's 'market value' he is after then $250K is what he's worth

  • I'd like to see him playing outside of Moses but not for what he'd want

  • If somehow the titans would pay for half the contract it would be worth it. Doubt it though,  plus not a ba type player. Will end up at dolphin's or the dogs with his lazy mate.

    • Dolphins said nope.

      • Bennett was wetting himself earlier in the year. Actually would be a unreal pick up if coached well and no expectations money wise.

        • Think old Benny is saving his coin and probably sees 3 potentials just like him in his ranks already. Whe; you think of the players old Benny unearthed out of that Brisbane catchment back in the day , and the players Melbourne have had come out of there , it's not hard to believe Wayne Bennett doesn't really need to be going crazy buying kids for a million plus that aren't an established million dollar value player. It will be interesting to see if he has a serious tilt at Brown or Moses.

  • This bloke is all about himself, can't see him passing the BA attitude test. Or any other test really.

    • Have met the kid a few times , he's actually very much not about himself. Just not overly bright, but absolutely went out of his way to come and meet any kid or fan within a 5km radius 😂.  He's portrayed as some one man show that demands huge money , but it wasn't him that paid him that huge coin , it was Mal Smellmefinger who put that offfer on the table. Then he had The Whinging Bull , Tallis big show himself about how he was going to work with him and do all this magical shit , and all he did was virtually try to overthrow the Titans trainers.

People harp on about how young Dylbro is and how he should be cut a break etc etc etc , but forget that Fifita is younger than Dylan. Worst thing they could've done was pay him that huge contract at an age where he's never going to hit his peaks , the expectations are too large ,  which is exactly what I've been saying about Dylan Brown when people are pulling their puds wanting to pay him a million.

        • Caryn, It's been mentioned on here , what , a gazillion times that the Brown offer should be in the vacintity million. He's already on about 750k. So what would you offer him lovey ? He'd have to be the highest paid bloke in history for his output. I don't care how much potential he shows a few times a year , he's been on huge overs.
