It would be a shame to lose him but if he's been offered a better deal over there then good luck to him.
Davey has done a great job coming straight into the team having not has any match fitness. I thought he was unlucky not to get a run last season

He has to do whats best for him. Good solid player but eels can't match other clubs prices for a 28 year old who barely makes the bench, espicially since are young fowards are developing well. However, I personally believe he is too good to play for a bad super league side. Surely one of the weaker NRL sides should sign him for a couple of years. But yet again, super league sides would pay much more.

Hughes and Hollis
Aren't Hughes and Hollis both middle forwards, whereas Davey is an edge?
Not sure. But edge fowards normaly play the full 80 and Lane and Matto have plenty of years to play so we are fine. Plus Marata is our utility foward incase any of them get injured.
