I read they are already talking about a class action.It should be interesting.
Optus are legally required to contact everyone that was involved in the breach. People are being contacted, but not all have been yet.
So if you are or have been a customer of Optus since 2017, keep an eye out for an email/SMS.
Captain I don't know how true it is but I'm hearing its customers well before 2017 as well.

I just looked this company up Frankie and they have a very bad rating?
Equifax themselves had a massive data breach a few years back.
I wouldn't trust them for shit.
Saw this in an article, there are other options to Equifax.
My details were stolen.
I got the email from Optus apologising and telling me all my details were stolen. I stopped being an Optus customer 3 or 4 years ago but they still had all my personal details on file.
Slater & Gordon are looking into launching a class action law suit.
I'm assuming Slater and Gordon were customers of Optus?
