The trial is actually in Alice Springs about 1800klm from Darwin. Probably no coverage except local news channels.
Unfortunately there is not the required infrastructure in Alice Springs to be able to do this.
I believe Ron is filming it with his new Gopro that he got for Christmas. He has made a special brace with a 2012 Eels members cap, an old toothbrush and a shitload of sticky tape and will have it strapped to his head so that we get a spectator like view of the event. The whole thing will be streamed via Youtube. He will actually be calling the game as well. Snake has gone along as his colour man/sidekick.
The budget didn't provide for airfares so they started hitching up there on Monday. They were last seen on Monday evening at the truck stop outside Yass (it appears they may be heading in the wrong direction) drinking simultaneously from a lime milkshake with 2 straws. Haven't been seen or heard from since - hope they're ok.
There is radio coverage from the local aboriginal blokes.
