  Great to see a half run the ball but soft defence, the second try whilst involving luck was well backed up. Looking at our 20's so many islanders that just look big. I hope they are not being picked purely on size as we sure could use a ballplaying forward like a Kenny Edwards right now.

    Dargan is nowhere near nrl standard, and it's unknown if he will ever be.

    Steve I'm with you on the club definitely keeping Dargan, but I don't see him being up to first grade quality anytime soon.
    
    Defensively I can't see him stepping up, and attacking wise Moses is a far superior in all facets.
    
    I still think if good enough, Dargan can push for a top 17 spot in a year or two.

    Would hate to lose him also, but with moses n norman in front of him i cant see him getting a run anytime soon. If hes 1-2 yrs away from 1st grade, then maybe covert him to hooker. there has been plenty of halves who have sucessfully made the transition.

  Well said Chief. If Dargan can at least become a left footed backup for Norman he will have gone further than most star NYC halves.

  He's named for wenty again this week and has played a couple of wenty games this season. Brad likes to give players like him a tester ala French and rotate them between the two to minimise burnout.
